CTO - Luciano Lucrezia
He joined the NVD Group (New Venture Development – www.nvd.it) in 1998 and took part in the foundation of the company Tiesse S.p.A., of which he is technical director.
Born in Calitri, he graduated in Information Sciences at the University of Pisa.
After a brief period at the ENI group company as a software designer, he joined Olivetti in 1986 and actively participated in the definition and development of local and geographical networks, directly overseeing the implementation of the most widespread communication and routing protocols.
It covers all the stages of the evolution of networks: Token Ring, Ethernet, SDLC, X.25, Frame Relay, ATM and related protocols: SNA, ISO / OSI, TCP / IP.
In 1994 he joined Italtel where he worked on SDH transmission technology.
In 1996 he returned to Olivetti and then to Infostrada where he worked on a system for covering the last mile based on wireless technology.
Since 1998 he has been leading the technical part of Tiesse, bringing the company from a niche market in the electronic sector to an important and significant role in the telecommunications sector in just a few years, creating a line of M2M routers and products ranging from traditional GPRS / UMTS and xDSL to modern transmission technologies for broadband LTE, VDSL2 and Vectoring, up to systems compliant with the Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) models.
He is also a member of Tiesse’s Board of Directors.
