- Discuss the various ways of achieving effective technology transfer to enable businesses, and SMEs in particular, to innovate, or acquire innovation from universities or technology start-ups, or even co-innovate with these entities in order to transfer products and commercial solutions to these SMEs to develop their business and grow in an increasingly competitive global environment.
Tiesse is also participating. Please find the details in the programme below.
Programme | From 10:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- The morning will feature a plenary session presenting some successful experiences of Italian SMEs in different contexts and with different modes of technology transfer. The aim of this part is to recount these experiences, discussing the factors that led to success, as well as the mistakes from which these companies learned. The recounting of these experiences is valuable in order to share lessons learnt and inspire other SMEs. The programme will seek to represent diverse experiences of technology transfer, i.e. those arising from innovation generated and supported internally within the company, or co-generated through collaborative relationships with external research institutions, such as universities or public research centres of various kinds, or acquired through university start-ups or spin-offs.
- The afternoon will feature parallel thematic workshops, designed to allow each participant to meet with the morning speakers and other entrepreneurs or managers of companies of various sizes to discuss technology transfer. The experience of the RESTART programme will be an important part of the discussion in the various afternoon workshops.
