Tiesse has been confirmed as the technology partner for the supply of data transmission equipment on wired and mobile networks of the ACI Group through the company ‘ACI Informatica’

Tiesse S.p.A, the Ivrea-based company specialising in network technologies, routers and M2M solutions entirely Made in Italy, has strengthened the partnership for the technological and operational management of the ACI Group agencies throughout Italy.
Tiesse has been awarded, through a European public tender and subsequent implementations, the supply of multi-functional routers for the approx. 1500 Italian Agencies, beating the competition from American and Chinese multinationals.
The technical solution refers to the network of ACI agencies that provide support for paying road taxes, transfer of ownership, etc., connectivity to the ACI Informatica world via fixed ADSL, 3G and 4G LTE mobile and ISDN lines, connectivity within the agencies both directly via fixed ETH/IP as well as wireless workstations and access to the public Internet world.
Last but not least, the Tiesse solution will enable new types of services for citizens, such as dematerialization of ownership documents for the “Semplific@uto” project.
In the specific solution, Tiesse has supported ACI Informatica right from the phases following the award of the European public tender, ensuring technological support and optimal implementation of the solution, both from the hardware supply point of view as well as that of specific services with highly qualified personnel.
This collaboration has continued for months and will last until all the installations have been put into service. This will be followed by the operational phase in order to support the ACI Informatica team in routine maintenance of the network or for any future developments.

Wholly owned by the Automobile Club of Italy, it operates and is the protagonist of the information technology management of Italian mobility and in the implementation of major IT projects in the Public Administration field. ACI Informatica’s experience is in large Public Administration projects (implementation and management of the Public Motor Vehicle Registry, system for the collection and control of road taxes on behalf of the Regions having an agreement with ACI), including the management of large volumes of data, the offer of online services and the development of advanced technology solutions.
